About Us
UNreform.org is an independent, non-partisan platform dedicated to the analysis of reform efforts within the United Nations and the broader system of global governance.
Since its founding in 1945, the United Nations has been the subject of sustained calls for reform. Many of these efforts—ranging from formal Charter amendment proposals to informal institutional adaptations—have stalled, failed, or produced limited change. UNreform.org documents these reform attempts, examines the structural constraints that shape them, and evaluates the trade-offs inherent in proposed reform pathways. The platform does not advance a single ideological position or uniform program of reform. Its purpose is to provide historically grounded analysis and policy-oriented framing that helps practitioners, researchers, and interested readers clarify what is feasible, what is desirable, and what unintended consequences may follow from institutional change. UNreform.org is designed as a living platform. Timelines, briefs, and analyses are updated over time as new reform efforts emerge and as historical interpretations evolve.
